Speed Bumps of the Future: Creepy Optical Illusion... →
“In what sounds like a terrifying experience, the girl’s elongated form appears to rise from the ground as cars approach, reaching 3D realism at around 100 feet, and then returning to 2D distortion once cars pass that ideal viewing distance. Its designers created the image to give drivers who travel at the street’s recommended 18 miles per hour (30 km per hour) enough time to...

What is happiness
Some may say finding your dream job is the light at the end of the tunnel and that everything is gravy after that.
I beg to differ.
Crawling up whatever barb wire ladder you are on, and getting to that desired position (whatever it may be), is not (well….. very rarely) as great as it appears.
Ok, maybe this makes me sound like a pessimist - but really I’m usually quite an optimist.

Bwahaha. Classic. But oh so true….
To tumble or not??
OK - I just realised it has been a hell of a long time since I’ve tumbled due to many reasons (+ excuses I can pull at random.) Not sure why I stopped. I guess I just got too busy with work and real life….
Anyway - This is officially a renewed attempt of me getting back on the proverbial horse and galloping around the Tumblr paddock once more.
And with that….. I’ll finish...

Taking a break from work is important
Time is a funny thing. Leave work for a week, come back & things are piled up to the ceiling requring twice the hours to clean up the resulting work for the following week.
Why do we do it? Taking a break should be about bringing down stress levels, not increasing them within a day of your return to work. Working smarter, not harder and tidying up small piles of work while still away makes it...

Cool Garage doors
Cool Garage Doors A German firm called Style Your Garage (http://www.style-your-garage.com/) creates posters for garage doors that make it look as if your garage is where the action is. Made for the up-and-over garage doors common in Europe, they mount with Velcro and can be adapted to fit sectional garage doors. If you’ve got a two-car garage, no...
Monetizing Google Voice With 'Ringback... →
God I hope not. I have enough trouble with telemarketers now….
It has the potential to be annoying - but if you must listen to some form of audio…I suppose it might as well be an ad!
Google Voice product manager Vincent Paquet has acknowledged that Google is looking into advertising as a way to monetize Google Voice.
The patent application describes extending Google’s ad auction process...

The Pointless War On Generation Y
The intergenerational ‘debate’ isn’t really a debate at all, but that hasn’t stopped the Federal Government buying into it. Now it’s time Gen Y hit back, writes Dan Fitzgerald

How To Infuriate Your Fans & Friends on Facebook →
“About a year ago if I mentioned the concept of harnessing the power of Facebook and Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, ect as a realistic strategy for marketing a brand, I would generally get a very long “hmmmmmm …..” followed by a very pregnant pause from many of the people I talked to. A massive question mark would float over their heads as, more often than not, they just...
